About The Role:Following endorsement of a new Ageing Well team structure, an exciting opportunity now exists for a newly created Home Support Leader to provide strategic and operational leadership to a dynamic team delivering high-quality services for older residents.If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for supporting older adults to live independently and stay connected to their communities, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of home support through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). The role leads the delivery of person-centred services that promote wellbeing, independence, and social connection across our ageing population, while ensuring alignment with aged care reforms, Council priorities, and sector partnerships. About You: We’re seeking a confident and collaborative leader with a strong background in aged care or community services, who is committed to service excellence and positive outcomes for the community.To be successful in the is role, you will:Demonstrate strategic leadership with excellent collaboration and communication skills.Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver responsive, person-centred care.Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in Aged and/or Human Services or a related discipline.Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and high-quality customer experiences.Build strong partnerships across the sector and represent Council in key forums.Oversee budgets, reporting, and funding agreements to ensure sustainability.Bring expertise in aged care standards, compliance, and governance frameworks.About Our Organisation: The City of Charles Sturt is a vibrant community home to more than 120,000 people across 105 different cultures.
