About the job
In this pivotal collaboration role, you will provide strategic direction and lead the procurement function across three Adelaide Councils (Cities of Charles Sturt, Marion and Port Adelaide Enfield), championing innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement and contract management solutions. Your expertise and commercial acumen will drive collective success, enhancing capabilities across the Councils and delivering exceptional value to the communities we serve.
By fostering collaboration, you will shape procurement strategies that maximise community benefits, streamline processes, and ensure sustainable outcomes. Your contribution will be instrumental in achieving impactful results, positioning the Councils as leaders in strategic procurement excellence.
About the team
The Strategic Procurement team is responsible for supporting all procurement activities associated with the acquisition of goods, works or services of any value by the three collaborating Councils. This includes tendering arrangements and the contracting of services and applies to all employees.
