About The Role:As the PMO Delivery Lead, you’ll strengthen how the City of Charles Sturt governs and delivers its portfolio of projects, programs and organisational initiatives. You will provide clear portfolio oversight, improve delivery discipline and PMO governance, and lift the visibility of performance, risks, dependencies and organisational capacity. Working closely with initiative sponsors, project managers and leaders across the organisation, you’ll help shape a coordinated and prioritised pipeline of work aligned to strategic priorities - so resources are focused on initiatives that deliver the greatest value for our community.About You: Demonstrated experience coordinating complex portfolios of organisational initiatives, improving governance, reporting, delivery discipline and portfolio visibility across multiple workstreams.Strong understanding of portfolio, program and project management approaches including planning, milestone tracking, risk management, budget oversight and forecasting.Ability to translate delivery performance, risks, dependencies, sequencing issues and capacity constraints into clear executive-level insights and practical recommendations.Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills, with experience working across multiple business areas and with senior leaders.Well-developed written communication and presentation skills, including building dashboards and consistent reporting that supports decision-making.Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, management, or a related discipline (or equivalent demonstrated experience).Professional certification in project/program/change management and/or experience in Australian local government or the public sector (desirable).About Our Organisation: The City of Charles Sturt is a vibrant community home to around 130,000 people across 105 different cultures.
