About The Role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced planning professional to step into a key leadership role within our Development Services team. As Planning Assessment Lead, you will support the Coordinator Development Services to guide the day-to-day delivery of the Planning Assessment team, ensuring applications are assessed accurately, consistently and within required timeframes.
You will provide technical leadership, mentor and support staff, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and assess more complex planning application. Success in this role will come from balancing strong technical planning expertise with practical leadership, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to delivering a helpful, high-quality customer experience.

The Detail:
The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is classified at Level 8, with a salary range of $135,065 to $143,998 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
