About our team
Our Trees and Irrigation Business Unit is responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of trees and streetscapes, recreational reserves and sporting grounds. We do this through programmed and reactive work that involves street tree pruning, removal and replacement planting, root pruning, root barrier installations, constructing quality irrigation systems and maintenance to irrigated turf and developing and maintaining attractive landscapes.
Working as part of a team, our arborists undertake general tree maintenance across our Council area performing block tree pruning to our streetscapes, reserves and other green areas.

The detail
This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Our minimum classification for an Arborist is ME5, with an annual base salary of $73,019 + super + annual leave loading. For candidates with demonstrated experience in more complex and specialised tree work, appointment would be at the Advanced Arborist ME6 classification level with an annual base salary of $74,721 + super + annual leave loading.
