We seek people passionate about what they do and who thrive on seeking creative solutions.About the TeamAs part of our Asset Management Services Division, the Asset Management Planning team lead Asset Planning and the coordination and implementation of our Asset Improvement Program – ensuring integration across all of Council’s divisions and business units.About the JobAs an Asset Officer in our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive asset management services for all assets in the City, in conjunction with asset managers throughout Council and the wider team.This role involves a variety of responsibilities, ranging from assisting in the preparation of Asset Management Plans to interrogating asset data reports; ensuring asset registers are updated and maintained and undertaking asset audits and valuations. About You:Proven experience in asset management, including the management of assets, planning, and completing asset data auditsSound understanding of Asset Management lifecycle principlesAdvanced skills in data integrity, quality control and assurance.Proven experience in interrogating asset data and producing high quality reports about asset condition, value, remaining useful life, KPIs and other asset attributesDemonstrated self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously.You may have a background in a finance / asset accounting role, with a particular interest in asset management. This position is offered on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week/0.8 FTE), however there is the potential for the position to be offered at up to full-time hours.
