About our team
The Parks and Biodiversity Business Unit is responsible for maintaining local parks, streetscapes, open space areas, biodiversity sites and nominated Council properties. We provide and maintain innovative, accessible and flexible public places and spaces that are fit for purpose for our Community.
We pride our Gardeners as a team of great people who enjoy the outdoors and are passionate and skilled in horticultural maintenance to make our City a place that means the world for our community. A typical day would involve activities to maintain and enhance our parks, gardens and streets, including mowing and detailing, planting of small trees and shrubs, pruning, drip irrigation, mulching and weed control.
To be successful
The successful candidate will be a team player who has demonstrated experience in horticultural maintenance.

The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is classified at the ME5 level, with an annual starting salary of $73,019 per annum plus superannuation.
