About the Team
As part of our Community Connections Portfolio, our Literacy & Learning team deliver engaging and vital programs and learning experiences for community of all ages and abilities across our 5 library and community facilities. Our team works collaboratively, ensuring our facilities are recognised as centres of excellence for literacy, learning, innovation and discovery.
Following the introduction of our newest community facility Ngutungka West Lakes, the team is currently embarking on an exciting new venture in Ngutungka Henley Beach; our next integrated Community Centre & Library which has been endorsed by Council and is now in the detailed design phase.
About the Position
An exciting temporary part-time (0.52) opportunity has emerged for a caring, progressive courageous and passionate person to join our Literacy and Learning Team in the New Year!
We hope to receive applications from a positive community-focussed individual who enjoys delivering events and activities which engage with our diverse community.
Examples of programs you will deliver will include weekend programs for young children and families, and inspiring programs for adults and seniors. It will include programs in our Library spaces, and beyond our facilities as part of an outreach Pop Up series.
This position will be supported with great training, peer and leader support.
We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:
- Experience delivering programs which inspire and engage community participation
- The ability to work in a changing environment.
- Passion for working with community and a love of lifelong learning.
- This opportunity would suit someone who is seeking a part-time contract which includes some weekdays and a regular weekly weekend shift
This position is offered as a part-time (0.52) fixed term contract commencing 18 January 2023 until 30 April 2023 and is classified as Level 3 with a salary range of $76,763.71 - $82,756.55 (full-time equivalent) + Super.
