By working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, the Risk Advisor will manage the development, review and implementation of Council’s strategic and corporate risk management programs in accordance with Council’s risk management policy and framework. This role is also responsible for administering Council’s insurance portfolio, leading emergency management initiatives and coordinating and enhancing business continuity across the organisation.About You:The successful candidate will possess:Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with all levels across the organisation.Well- developed research and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise initiative and judgement using conflict resolution skills to negotiate outcomes.Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Business Management, Public Administration or related field being well regarded.
